We are less than 2 weeks away from our Wedding Showcase at the Bavarian Bierhaus on August 18 from 1-4 PM! And we are so excited to announce that Pam with Photos by Pam will be there to chat about your photography needs! We had an opportunity to ask Pam a few questions to give you some insight before you meet her on the 18th! 
Tell us a little bit about you, and how you got started!
I have always had a camera starting since early teen years. But it was not until I worked for Photographic Services for the state of TN and saw what the photographers, I worked for did that I wanted to get a professional camera, as a hobby. Within three months I was asked to shoot a wedding. That was in 2008. I am self-taught and love working with people.
What makes your business unique?
I am also an artist and crafter and I think that has allowed me to maybe work outside of the box sometimes and maybe to see things a little different than most folks do.
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
The love you see between the two. I love to watch them interact especially when they’re announced husband and wife.
One piece of advice for couples?
Keep conversation going, talk to each other. Tell each other about your wishes, thoughts and dreams. Share your day with each other.
Childhood career aspiration?
To not be a secretary somewhere! I actually bounced between doing several things as a career and then I married and had kids, so things got altered and I became a secretary! haha…but since I have grown up it has been to be good at whatever I did. A good painter, crafter or my photography.
Coffee, tea, wine or champagne? And why?
I love my sweet tea! It’s refreshing, and keeps me drinking through the day, and has lots more flavor then WATER! I however like a good glass of wine.
Hidden talent?
Nothing really hidden. I am a Facebooker and blogger so pretty much anything I do is posted somewhere so none of it gets hidden!
