While we primarily feature weddings from the Nashville area, we’re also passionate about sharing out-of-state weddings that involve our Happily Connected members.
The Submissions Process
To submit your wedding or event for publication on Happily Connected, please fill out one of our submissions form. We need three key pieces of information from you, which are listed below. Once submitted, our team will review your submission and be in touch if we publish it.
Image Gallery
A stunning gallery of at least 50 images that tell the story of the event! These photos should showcase the essence of the day and include the special moments that made it unforgettable.
Event Description
Share the details! We love hearing about what made the day unique, whether it’s the couple’s love story, a memorable proposal, special moments from the event, or any standout details that made the day extraordinary.
Vendor List
Please provide a full list of the vendors who contributed to your wedding day. We’ll be sure to credit them for their incredible work.

To be considered for a feature:
- Submissions must include at least one Happily Connected member.
- If you’re not a member, that’s okay—as long as one vendor in the shoot is.

Do You Accept Engagement Sessions or Styled Shoots?
Yes! While we prioritize real weddings, we also accept high-quality engagement sessions and styled shoots with unique or inspiring themes.

Definitely! Please send us a link to your wedding film on YouTube or Vimeo.

How Recent Should the Wedding/Event Be?
We typically feature weddings from within the last 12 months, but if your submission has something special or unique, feel free to send it our way.

What Are the Photo Requirements?
- Size: 1080px wide (optimized for web)
- Gallery Link: Include a link to a full gallery (50+ images) with a download pin. If you have favorites, you would like us to consider first, add a favorites tab.
- No Watermarks: Please ensure images are free of watermarks

What Kinds of Photos Do You Look For?
To create a visually cohesive feature, we love photos like:
- Flatlays of stationery & invitations
- Wedding shoes, bouquet & accessories
- Full-length dress shots & close-up details
- Hair, makeup, and behind-the-scenes prep
- Ceremony & reception setups (before/after guests)
- Sweet ceremony moments (first kiss, aisle walk)
- Groomsmen, bridesmaids, and romantic couple shots

Do I Need Permission to Submit?
Yes. Please ensure:
- You have your photographer’s permission
- Your clients are comfortable with being featured
- All vendors involved are okay with being credited
We will honor any requests to remove content due to privacy concerns.

Should I List All Vendors Involved?
Yes! This helps everyone get credit. Include:
- Business names
- Websites
- Instagram handles – Even if they don’t have a website, it’s helpful!

Is Happily Connected an Exclusive Publication?
Nope! We welcome content that has been featured elsewhere. Just make sure you’re not violating another publication’s exclusivity rules.

No, the submitter is responsible for notifying all involved vendors so they can share the feature too!

Can I Make Changes to a Post After It’s Live?
Yes. If there’s an error or needed update, email us at [email protected] with the link to the post. We’ll do our best to make the changes within a few hours to a week, depending on the request.
