Tell us a little bit about your venue!
Our venue property was once a golf course! The building was intended to be the pro shop and house a small grill upstairs. The building was about half finished (our beautiful ceiling in the Reception Hall is original!) when we purchased it. We loved the rolling meadows and horse pastures, but it took us a few years to land on a plan for what to do with the old pro shop! We ended up doubling the size of the original building so that it could function nicely for large groups of people. The long porch that we love so much was the location for the 14-acre driving range.
We are located just down the road from Fall Creek Falls State Park. We love this park and hope our future couples and their people will enjoy hiking, paddle boating, fishing, biking, golfing, and even horseback riding at the park! Because we offer a weekend rental package, it makes taking advantage of the many surrounding opportunities very possible!
What makes your venue unique?
One of our favorite aspects is the versatility and flexibility that couples have when having their wedding weekend at Woodhaven! We have multiple outdoor areas that make beautiful ceremony locations or even gorgeous photo spots! For those who wish for an indoor ceremony, our Parks Hall’s fireplace can be a stunning backdrop! OR our long 140′ covered porch can be used for a rain plan ceremony or a lovely cocktail hour! Every wedding will be uniquely crafted for the couple’s flavor and vibe!
What is your ideal client like?
I love this question! We have been dreaming and praying for our future couples for years now! We cannot wait to host couples that value family and great friends and wish to spend more than minutes greeting their guests at their wedding. Instead, they want to share memories, experiences, and meaningful time together, celebrating all that is significant about a decision to marry! Our couples also have an appreciation for the beauty of nature and wish to include the simple touches of a rustic design while having all the amenities and comforts of a big city venue!
How many guests can be accommodated for a wedding or event?
Our venue has a maximum capacity of 150.
Do you offer on-site accommodations? If so, for how many?
Yes! Our Farmhouse (couples get 2 nights stay included in their weekend rental) can sleep 8! It has a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs that overlook the 14 acres in the front and a large yard in the back with a fire pit and swings. The Farmhouse is steps away from the venue for ease of access!
One piece of advice for couples?
One piece of advice…plan well, then enjoy your weekend with peace and gratitude! Do not let the details overshadow the time and moments with those you love! The day will go by quickly and you may never have those special people all together in one location in the same way.

We are eager to serve, host, and watch the celebrations come to fruition! It is an honor to be a witness to such a significant life event as two people joining their hearts and lives!
