A 10th wedding anniversary is a special milestone that marks a decade of love and commitment between two people. To celebrate this occasion, Meredith and Luther decided to have a destination vow renewal. One of the things Meredith wanted at the ceremony was beautiful photos to commemorate their love. To do this, they decided to have an anniversary photo shoot. Dominique of Mystique Makeup worked with Meredith to give her a gorgeous glam look. Meredith McKinney is one of my regular clients. We have worked together on big projects for her organization, The Black Book Project, which aims to make cultural representation in children’s literature in local schools in the greater Nashville area. We have worked together for major television spots, awards ceremonies, etc. This time was even more special because she was celebrating her 10-year anniversary with her husband. For the big 10, they decided to do a destination vow renewal. One of the things she wanted at the ceremony was beautiful photos to commemorate their love. She booked me to do makeup for her anniversary photoshoot. Meredith loves red lips, so we wanted to stay true to her style by doing her signature red lips. I decided to go for a sexy smokey eye using browns and black with a pop of gold in the center of the eye. She loved it! And it made for great photos for the vow renewal!
