One of the biggest trends that is happening in weddings today is opting for a small intimate ceremony. There are several ways to do this and many positive reasons this can be a great option for some couples.

Small Elopement Ceremony

Many couples want to elope but want to have something a little nicer than just the courthouse. This may be just a small, backyard ceremony at their home or the home of a family member or friend. Another idea is a venue like TN Tiny Weddings that has many beautiful options on their property for small, intimate ceremonies. This is a great way to have an intimate ceremony that is just about you and your new spouse. Tennessee Tiny Weddings has some great options that take the stress out of the planning process.

Courthouse Ceremony

Some couples opt to go to the courthouse and get legally married just the two of them or with a few select family and friends and then celebrate later with everyone.  Unfortunately, the Nashville, TN courthouse no longer offers weddings so be sure to check with the courthouse you wish to use to ensure they offer this service.

No Ceremony

Another option is not to do a ceremony at all, just take care of the legal part of being married then party afterwards! Having a ceremony may not be important to some couples, but celebrating the occasion is. There’s definitely no shame in wanting to do your wedding this way. It’s your big (or small) day so you can do whatever you want! This is a great option, if you have a shorter timeline to get married. Venues often book a year in advance so if you want to get married within a few months it may be easier to skip a big ceremony and find a space to celebrate later with your family and friends.

Focusing on a small intimate ceremony and reception is a great way to save money, stress and time.

Very good Info. We notice that trend happening here at #tntinyweddings. The main thing we want for the couples is for them to have what they want. After all, it’s about the couple! Blessings. James Tucker
