The Reflection Pond at the beautiful Tennessee Tiny Weddings venue was the perfect setting for our plum & black Modern Garden Party styled shoot!
The stunning scene came together perfectly with the help of many great Nashville wedding vendors and was captured beautifully by Amy from Wilde Company.
The triangular arch created by Meadow & Co. Designs served as a beautiful backdrop in front of the Reflection Pond, along with the florals by Flowers Express.
The black and purple tones blended together perfectly and matched very well with the style of photography by Amy. The tablescapes had a modern, but slightly vintage vibe that was gorgeous with the outdoor setting.
Love, love, love the invitation and other paper details created by Kim with paperkuts Studio. Gold calligraphy by Ashley Nicole Designs adorned the beautiful olive envelopes. The paper details definitely set the tone for this gorgeous garden soiree’!
One of our favorite parts was the stunning head table underneath the big willow tree!! The gorgeous dusty plum and black puddling runner, black matte china and stunning florals created a breathtaking centerpiece to our Modern Garden theme.
The models Abby and Jimmie are a real life married couple who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary! You can tell in the photos that they are truly in love and it’s not just a “scene” for them. Abby looked stunning in her dress from Modern Trousseau and Jimmie looked very dapper in his suit from Street Tuxedo. Abby’s hair and makeup by Kati Edge was perfect for this modern garden party.
The cake table was adorned with a handwritten love poem runner created by Ashley Nicole Designs and two gorgeous single tiered cakes created by Allison from The Rolling Pin – one was a beautiful purple ombre and the other was decked out in luscious black icing with purple and white florals. The centerpiece by Oshi Florals was the perfect compliment!
There was also an awesome food spread by Made South Catering that was both beautiful and delicious! It paired perfectly with the cocktails by The Drinking Well.
This shoot is a perfect example of how beautiful an intimate outdoor affair can be and that you can still have all the fun wedding elements on a smaller scale. Couples planning outdoor elopements and micro weddings – particularly due to covid and safety concerns need to remember just because the affair is smaller, doesn’t mean the details have to be.
Remember at the end of the day, all that really matters is that you are Happily Married!
