Tell us a little bit about you, and how you got started!
I have been in the photography world for over 15 years from Montana mountains to Florida beaches – When moving to Tennessee I knew I didn’t want to leave the world of it I just wanted to switch up the Lense view. Discovering Photobooths has been more fun than I could have imagined! Everyone loves selfies! Even Kids!
What makes your business unique?
I never want my customers to feel like they are calling Emjay Flash Galaxy, I want them to call Melissa. I am not a huge company with a 1-800 number that has to look up your customer number. You are a person and now a new friend.
What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry?
I surround myself with positive energy and Weddings have more beautiful smiles, fun memories and sentimental moments than anywhere else.
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
No two couples are the same. It’s so different every time.
One piece of advice for couples?
Never go to bed angry, always say “I love you” and never stop dating.
Childhood career aspiration?
I always wanted to be a jack of all trades, There was never a direct “When I grow up, I want to be…” I loved learning about everything and wasn’t afraid to get my hands dirty.
Any fun facts or hidden talents?
Fun fact- Photography isn’t my trade. Construction is. For me it is just another form of art. I have even been in the tattoo industry – Anything that allows you to be creative.
