Dan and Allison have been providing wedding DJ and event DJ services in the Nashville TN, Middle TN and Southern Middle KY Area for over 25 years. Tell us a little bit about you, and how you got started!
I got into my first DJ gig at my best friends 12th birthday party. Then moving on to being a DJ for 3 different skating rinks. While attending college, I was on the local radio station multiple times a week. I was also a DJ at events while in college. After college, being a DJ at events became a much larger focus. I have been a Wedding DJ for over 25 years.
What makes your business unique?
Dynamite DJ Service is a husband and wife team. We work together at every event to make sure everything runs smoothly.
What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry?
Being part of the wedding industry is very exciting, we are always learning and developing new skills and relationships.
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
We love working with couples because we are part of the biggest part of their lives. We get to watch and provide entertainment and see the magic.
One piece of advice for couples?
Please take time to call or meet up with your vendors before hiring them, just allowing you a little to see if they are a good fit for you.
Childhood career aspiration?
Since my early years I have always been interested in music and electronics. Playing the drums and having a modern stereo system that sounded great..
Any fun facts or hidden talents?
Being a husband and wife team we provide two different takes to styles of music and how the crowd responds to different music. Reading the crowd is the most important part of a DJs work.
