Tell us all about Rural Hill Farm?
Rural Hill Farm is one of Middle Tennessee’s most unique and serene outdoor wedding venues! We are situated on over 150 acres in beautiful Mount, Juliet, TN. There is a reason we’re named Rural Hill Farm – our property truly feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, and yet we are still close to all the conveniences Nashville and its surrounding cities have to offer! Here at RHF we host weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, bridal and baby showers, graduation and birthday parties, and so much more! We also rent our cabins to travelers from near and far. We are truly a one-of-a-kind destination venue.
How did you get started in weddings?
We hosted our first wedding in 2015 and have been learning and growing in the wedding industry ever since. Middle Tennessee has such an incredible community of vendors here and we absolutely love being a part of it!
What makes your venue unique?
We have a large two-acre pond that serves as a breathtaking backdrop for ceremonies and photos – it is also home to some precious ducks and other wildlife! Our lodging is another one of our incredible amenities! We can accommodate up to 34 total guests on the property, making us a great option for couples looking for a destination wedding venue. We also offer other add-on conveniences like coordination packages and vendor bundles!
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
We love hearing love stories! We have had couples celebrate here from literally all over the world! It is so special to get to share in this journey with them and be the place that they’ll create lifelong memories.
One piece of advice for couples?
- Don’t sweat the small stuff! Weddings are a labor of love, and it can sometimes feel like the end of the world when something you’ve been planning for months and months doesn’t go exactly according to plan but remember at the end of the day what it’s all about – marrying your best friend and starting your life together!
- Hire a coordinator! Whether you hire our in-house coordinator or bring in your own, we highly recommend adding them to your vendor team. They take away the stress from the couples/families and allow them to relax and enjoy the special day.
What’s the philosophy behind the venue?
We truly are all about community. We feel so blessed to have our property and it is our goal to share it with as many people as possible.
