Tell us a little bit about you, and how you got started!
I worked in the Christian Publishing business, setting up Authors Contracts and making sure they got paid, and I just wanted to do more. I love to help people and thought about becoming a Paramedic, but with school-aged children at home, it wasn’t going to fit into our schedule. I have always been a planner and have planned mine and others vacations for years. It occurred to me that I could do this at home, while working a full time job, and build my business. I started in November of 2018 and 2019 was really great! 2020 was tough working through Covid, but I ended up succeeding in the midst of a pandemic. Since then, I’ve grown my business and love what I do!
What makes your business unique?
I’m a real person! I listen to what you want on a trip/wedding/honeymoon and then try to customize your desires.
What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry?
Getting to see dreams come true
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
Getting to know them and their stories!
One piece of advice for couples?
Combining their wedding and honeymoon into a destination wedding can save them thousands!
Childhood career aspiration?
I wanted to be a nurse, but after figuring out that I wasn’t very good at handling getting my own blood drawn, I didn’t think I would be able to do well with taking others. That eventually changed, but that was my childhood aspiration 🙂
Any fun facts or hidden talents?
I was on a jump rope team from 2nd grade through 7th grade!
