Long Hollow Gardens was the perfect setting for Hayley + Billy’s Wine & Navy Botanical Classic Wedding. The deep red hues were the perfect color to accent the feeling of love all the around the big day. From the family and friends to the beautiful couple who were united. We are swooning over every detail!
Hayley was absolutely stunning in her lace Allure Bridal gown from the White Room. The bridesmaid wore wine colored Bill Levkoff dresses from The White Room also. Billy and his guys wore navy Kenneth Cole suits from Macy’s and wine colored ties.
Billy & Hayley love the Preds! We adore the subtle way they incorporated this into their special day with matching Pred socks for the guys and Pred’s koozies for their guests!
Beautiful florals adorning the arbor, tables and cake were the perfect touch for their wine & navy botanical classic theme. The wine colored ombre cake created by Allison with The Rolling Pin was gorgeous! Not only did it go perfectly with the decor but it was absolutely delicious!
Tell us about your love story and proposal/engagement?
We met while I was in college in Knoxville, TN. My roommate and best friend, Reanna worked as a server at a restaurant and William was also a server there. I started working there soon after. A few months into working there we started dating and the rest is history. We dated for 8 years before we got married.
We got engaged on April 21st on a hike in Inyo National Forest, California. Halfway through the hike, in front of an alpine lake, he proposed. My friend Reanna was there with us and captured this photo.

How would you describe your style? How did you incorporate that style into your wedding?
My style for my wedding was botanical classic. We chose Long Hollow Gardens for our venue and it matched my style perfectly, being that it is a green house. I knew that would be my venue before getting married if it was available. I’ve always loved Long Hollow and my family has been visiting and buying plants from their nursey for years.
What was your (or your guests’) favorite aspect of your wedding?
My favorite aspect of my wedding was my venue and amazing photographer.
Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
We splurged on florals and the venue. My mom did almost all of the decorating herself. She bought and styled the tables herself, which saved money not having to hire someone to style the wedding.
How did you choose your cake/vendors/venue?
As far as my vendors, I had been following Allison on Instagram and had seen some of her cakes, so she was the only person I approached about a cake. She did a beautiful job. The food I chose because I went to a wedding where Kathy’s Sugar and Spice Catering did the food and it was by far, the best wedding food I had at a wedding. I found my florals through my wedding planner.
What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
My advice to couples would be to not worry so much about every little detail, it will all turn out wonderful in the end. If something does go wrong, no one will notice but you. Our day was amazing, and while I’m sure some things didn’t go as planned, I didn’t notice at all because I was having a great time.
