The Nashville skyline served as the perfect backdrop for this sweet couple’s elopement. Not even a little rain ruined their perfect day! Below is the day in the perspective of photographer Mahlia of Ivory Door Studio!
We partnered up with one of our favorite Middle TN planners, Raina of Weddings & Events by Raina for this sweet Nashville Elopement! Lee Ann and Todd were together in high school but each went their separate ways after and began their own life adventures. After many years and numerous life events they happened to bump into one another at Kroger and realized that they were still just such a perfect fit. The couple wanted to elope but thought Vegas was a tad cliche and they figured they’d likely come back with significantly more money too if they eloped in Nashville instead. Since our slice of heaven has become the destination wedding location of the south we were absolutely thrilled when they reached out for an all inclusive elopement package!
After discussing several different Nashville area venues they decided they liked the idea best of having the Nashville skyline in their ceremony. Which was such a perfect decision! Plus, the weather decided not to cooperate and turned rainy but with the safe overhead coverage of the bridge Raina was able to perform the ceremony relatively rain free! After they said their vows they cut their delicious wedding cake and shared a short first dance before strolling across the pedestrian bridge for sunset and stopped by several of the most popular downtown Nashville destinations including the Schermerhorn symphony center, the Bridgestone Arena, Ryman Auditiorium, and downtown on Broadway spots like Tootsies! This was such a perfect music city elopement!
