Jordann and Peyton’s wedding held at Swans Landing was the perfect mix of black-tie elegance and timeless charm. Their day was filled with love, laughter, and so many personal touches.
Surrounded by family and friends, Jordann and Peyton exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony held in the garden by the pond. The celebration moved into a warm and joyful reception where elegant black and white décor, flickering candlelight, and fresh greenery set the mood for a night of fun. Laughter filled the room, glasses clinked in celebration, and once the music started, the dance floor stayed packed from the first song to the last.

Tell Us About Your Wedding Journey
We met through mutual friends and hit it off instantly. I’d never met somebody who could make me laugh so easily. We went together so well, it felt like I had been missing a whole piece of myself until we met. We’ve been inseparable ever since! I couldn’t imagine a life where we aren’t together.
Swans Landing is the best and most beautiful wedding venue where we live, so it was a no-brainer that’s where we wanted to have our wedding. They are so professional and genuinely want you to have the perfect day and will bend over backwards to make sure you do!
A huge part of making our dream wedding a reality was my mom, Ashley; without her, the day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was. From the moment we got engaged, she poured her heart into planning every detail. She worked tirelessly over the year leading up to our big day to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted. I’m so grateful for her.
Finding the perfect dress was such a special part of planning. Eleven Bridal was the best wedding dress shopping experience. I felt so beautiful and uplifted in everything I tried on. It was truly magical.

Tell Us About Your Engagement.
It was a big surprise! I had a feeling he was going to ask me to marry him, but I had no idea when it would happen, and I was definitely shocked when it did. He planned a cute weekend trip to the mountains in Tennessee, close to Christmas, so we could enjoy all the festive activities, like looking at Christmas lights. We visited Anakeesta for the day, and he proposed under this precious heart-shaped arch that overlooked the beautiful mountain scenery. I’ll never forget it.
Tell Us About Your Day.
It was truly a dream! Everything ran so smoothly, from arriving early for hair and makeup in the bridal suite to scheduled picture time with everyone. The wedding ceremony was perfect, the food was delicious, and we danced the night away at the reception.
My favorite moment of the day was when my mom surprised me with the most thoughtful gift. She found a way to make sure both of my grandfathers, who had passed away, could still be with me. She had taken two of their blue shirts for my “something blue” and had hearts made from the fabric sewn into the inside of my wedding dress. It was such a sentimental and emotional moment. It was a very sentimental moment.
My first look with my dad was one to remember. He instantly cried, which made me cry! He’s the best. My first look with my husband was so sweet. He cried (and he never cries!), and I couldn’t help but giggle.
During our unity ceremony, we sealed a bottle of wine and letters to each other, which we plan to open on our one-year anniversary while enjoying the wine alongside the top tier of our wedding cake.

Tell Us About the Reception
We had a big variety of home-cooked food from BBQ chicken to mac and cheese, and it was definitely a big hit. The music was upbeat most of the time, featuring a lot of old school hits that got everyone up and dancing, with a few slow songs thrown in, of course. The DJs did a great job keeping everyone hyped up and took a lot of requests, which was great.
For our first dance, we chose “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley, who I am obsessed with!
The wedding cake was phenomenal! There wasn’t a single piece left. We had lemon raspberry, chocolate, and vanilla. The bride and groom’s wedding cake topper resembled one that my parents received when they got married.
As for favors, we went with cider and donuts because we thought it was a perfect fall treat, and they were a huge hit!
