Sister Events Vision

For this showcase, Sister Events envisioned a setting that was bright, airy, and joyfully modern. At the entrance to the ceremony, a linen banner created by Chloe & Co. set the tone with a soft, romantic welcome. The cream fabric hung from a sleek black metal frame, and its gentle drape added warmth as guests stepped inside. Printed in a mix of elegant script and classic serif lettering, the banner’s poetic love note created an immediate sense of welcome to forever, shaping the mood for a ceremony designed to feel modern, meaningful, and full of emotion.

The aisle featured a shiny metallic fringe runner that sparkled with every step. This playful and modern design added energy to the room and matched the reflective elements of the ceremony.

The ceremony was intentionally designed in the round, creating a sense of intimacy and connection from every angle. Instead of a traditional forward‑facing setup, guests encircled the platform, allowing the couple to be surrounded by their people, a symbolic and visual embrace.

To build a light and celebratory atmosphere, the seating became part of the overall design. Silver chairs marked the reserved rows for family and the bridal party, subtly signaling honor. The remaining sections were grounded with black chairs, offering a gentle contrast that framed the ceremony without weighing down the airy palette.

At the center of the ceremony, a circular platform featured floral designs by Bluebird & Co. that rose in soft, organic shapes. These arrangements added movement to the center of the ceremony. Around each bouquet, clusters of disco balls and candles created gentle sparkles, making the space feel festive without being too flashy. Above, a cascading tinsel chandelier shimmered softly, mirroring the metallic accents below and tying everything together with a modern, celebratory glow.

Floral Design by Bluebird & Co.

Continuing with the common design theme of music, for the ceremony I looked to mid-century jazz lounges for inspiration, with their wood paneling, leather furniture, and metallic detailing. Megan and Aly wanted to keep it light, so I started with a soft background of dyed Limonium to create a neutral base, filling out the shape with frilly white roses and alstroemeria. The lilies gave the mounds height and movement, referencing trumpets and other brass instruments. To bring in the warm, toasty tones of wood and leather, I used golden cremons and cinnamon amaranth, with the finishing touch of silver ruscus giving each mound a sleek, modern edge.
