The front porch was a scene of effortless charm, where vintage elegance met timeless sophistication. Two seating areas, adorned in neutral tones, invited guests to settle in and bask in the nostalgic ambiance. The carefully curated palette of soft creams, warm taupes, and delicate beiges evoked an old-world vintage feel, perfectly complementing the home’s grandeur.

At the entrance, gold lanterns flanked the doorway, their warm glow casting a welcoming light that danced against the porch’s pristine, white-painted façade. Nearby, a collection of vintage suitcases—each with its own story to tell—added a touch of well-traveled romance, as if whispering tales of grand adventures and timeless love.

Set against the backdrop of the stately mansion, the porch exuded a sense of classic refinement, where history and elegance intertwined effortlessly. It was not just an entryway but a moment in time—a place where past and present met in perfect harmony.

The Mansion Ceremony

From: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events Weddings and Events

The ceremony space was an extension of the Old Hollywood style, and the Sweetheart Table and Ceremony worked seamlessly together. The fountain was the focal point, and The Flower Chic made it look SOOOO amazing!! The courtyard ceremony was a breathtaking scene, with the fountain overflowing with cascading ruby florals and chairs dressed in champagne velvet bows and roses.

From the Flower Chic

We were so excited to design the gorgeous fountain at Treemont Mansion. The fountain was the centerpiece on its own, but adding the tones of maroon and draping florals added a special touch. The aisle markers and lanterns at the end of the aisle connected it all together.

Old Hollywood Sweetheart Table

Design Team: Design Lead & Design & Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events | Floral Design: The Flower Chic | Stationery: St. Croix Designs | Draping: Party People Events & Décor

From: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events

The Sweetheart Table was pure elegance, draped in luxurious champagne velvet, adorned with lush ruby monotone red florals, dark winter greens, and sparkling crystal candleholders. Every detail was perfection, from the mercury glass chargers and gold-rimmed plates to the burgundy bow-wrapped menu card with gold calligraphy for the newlyweds.

The bride was stunning in a Randy Fenoli original, while the groom brought timeless charm in a black velvet jacket and a burgundy velvet bow tie.

From Party People Events & Décor

Draping provided a hint of color and a blank canvas to showcase the table decor. Ivory tones were utilized to create layers, with spandex being a sturdy fabric that falls gracefully.

From The Flower Chic

It started with the berry/maroon-colored napkins and bow inspiration that Kathy sent. The trend of monofloral is so hot right now that we decided to embrace the theme and try a “mono maroon” look with minimal color. The look was still classic, yet it was very up-to-date with the new floral trends.

Kathy also wanted to carry over the same look to the bridal bouquet. I try to pride myself on what floral trends are happening in the new year, so we made sure to incorporate Maroon Anthuriums that had just a touch of iridescence to them, along with all maroon blooms and coordinating trailing ribbon for that dramatic look once again. The pocket boutonnière was also a showstopper on the groom’s velvet jacket.

Dearest reader, should one be so fortunate as to attend a gathering set upon such an enchanting tablescape, they would find themselves utterly spellbound by its grandeur and grace. A vision of refinement and delicate artistry, this Bridgerton-inspired setting is nothing short of a masterpiece, where romance and sophistication intertwine in the most delectable fashion.

The table, adorned with vintage blue floral indigo dinner and salad plates, whispers of old-world charm, and their intricate patterns are a tribute to the artistry of a bygone era. Resting beside them, Château silverware gleams under the soft flicker of candlelight, its polished elegance befitting only the most distinguished of guests. In a delightful nod to whimsy, an assortment of porcelain teacups, each unique in its beauty, awaits the most refined of hands, ready to cradle the finest of teas.

At each place setting, a miniature cake stand bears a sweet indulgence—a selection of delicate macarons, each a jewel-toned confection too lovely to resist. The table is further graced with Debutante cornflower blue goblets, their exquisite hue mirroring the serene beauty of an afternoon sky.

Yet, it is the candlelight that truly breathes life into this most splendid affair. Silver and jeweled candlesticks stand regally amongst their glass taper candle counterparts, their flickering flames casting a warm, gilded glow over the evening’s merriment. At the heart of it all, a breathtaking floral arrangement commands attention—white roses, blue hydrangeas, and cascading white orchids intertwine with soft white feathers, a composition as ethereal as it is divine.

One could hardly imagine a more ravishing tableau, a setting worthy of whispered courtships, stolen glances, and the most delightful of tête-à-têtes. Should a suitor wish to make an impression, dear reader, a table such as this would surely set hearts aflame.

The unlit candles add a touch of anticipation, while the carefully arranged floral centerpiece ties the entire table together in a harmonious, refined display that enhances the black tie ambiance.

From Courage & Paper

Inspiration: The main color for this suite was green. I wanted to focus a lot on traditional elements and minimize non-traditional ones although I did use a bowtie as the place card. The goal of this design was to keep things minimal and to fit within the style of the mansion. The invitation includes the parents of the bride and groom and uses calligraphy as a focal point in the design. The overall design has the look and feel of a traditional suite, down to the details around the event being a black-tie affair.

Stationery included: 5 items within the suite – invitation, RSVP, details card, save the date, & menu. I also included a bellyband and an A7 Euroflap envelope liner.

Paper type: Neenah Cotton Paper, formerly Cranes Lettra Fluorescent white 118# cover. The green paper is called Lockwood Green by Color Plan. It has a 130# cover & the vellum paper was digitally printed. Lastly, the envelope liner was printed using 32# paper.

Her look embodied timeless romance and effortless grace. Makeup by Pauline of Lily & Lace featured a soft, natural palette that highlighted Regan’s glowing skin, subtly defined eyes, and a classic nude lip. Her hair, styled by Lacey of True Beauty Co. Salon, was swept into a loose, low updo with soft, face-framing tendrils—striking just the right balance of elegance and ease. Zach looked equally polished in a black velvet tuxedo from State & Liberty, elevated with a rich burgundy velvet bow tie that added a bold, personal touch. Together, they were the picture of refined style, capturing the essence of old Hollywood glamour with a fresh, modern twist.

Mansion Wedding Cake

Design Team: Design Lead & Design & Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events | Wedding Cake: Above & Beyond Cakes | Floral Design: The Flower Chic

From Romance & Rust Weddings and Events

The cake was displayed on the beautiful buffet, perfectly complementing our Old Hollywood theme.

From Above & Beyond Cakes

The 5-tier cake was covered in an ivory fondant. I used two types of stencil patterns using navy buttercream to add some texture, and all tiers were trimmed with a brilliant gold ribbon. My favorite part of this cake was the middle stand, which gave the appearance of a floating effect. I added ivory draping to hide the stand structure and give the cake more texture and elegance. The Flower Chic provided the florals. Their bold red florals were placed in a cascade effect to not only add a pop of color that matched the venue’s decor but also to compliment the draping on the tall tiers. Romance and Rust provided the beautiful round cake base that perfectly elevated the cake.

The Mansion Bar

Design Team: Design Lead & Design & Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events | Floral Design: The Flower Chic |Signature Drink & Bartending: Bartending by Jackie | Rentals: Grand Central Party Rental

From Romance & Rust Weddings and Events

The bar in the mansion fit right into the Old Hollywood theme. A cluster of assorted burgundy bow-embellished bottles were filled with red roses and placed on one side of the bar top, along with a vintage car decanter. The opposite side had a gold mirrored tray with a set of bow-embellished candlesticks, as well as gold embellished champagne flutes and vintage ornate shot glasses. A beautiful cascading floral was placed on the top right corner. Vintage decanters and glass candlesticks were placed on the bar back.

From The Flower Chic

The bar design started by connecting the berry/maroon ribbon theme over to the bar. The mansion has such a beautiful, substantial bar we wanted to have florals exhibited. After selecting each bottle and making delicate hand-tied bows for each one, we decided it needed an extra touch by adding some elegant touches with draping florals.

From Bartending by Jackie

Bartending by Jackie crafted a signature cocktail for the Mansion: the Pomegranate French 75. This delightful concoction includes pomegranate juice, lemon juice, gin, and real maple syrup, topped off with champagne. It is garnished with pomegranate seeds and a half lemon wheel. Jackie Lazenby, the owner of Bartending by Jackie, served this exquisite drink.

The Winston, a timeless London Cab, was transformed into a picture-perfect getaway car, exuding the charm and elegance of a classic London wedding. Dressed in traditional wedding finery, the car’s front hood was adorned with a crisp white bow, its long white streamers flowing gracefully, catching the breeze as if celebrating the couple’s joyous union.

At the rear, a wide white ribbon framed the back trunk, securing a beautifully crafted sign that read “Happily Connected Ever After”, a romantic nod to the couple’s new journey together. The sentiment was as charming as it was timeless, a perfect finishing touch to this grand exit.

As the newlyweds made their way toward their honeymoon, the soft clatter of classic white ribbons and tin cans trailing behind the cab filled the air with a joyful, time-honored tradition symbolizing love, luck, and a future filled with happiness. The Winston, with its distinguished presence and elegant adornments, became more than just a vehicle, it became a part of the couple’s love story, whisking them away into their happily ever after.
