The Carriage House

The overall atmosphere of the carriage house was designed to be vibrant, lively, and full of personality. With a color palette inspired by the fresh, rejuvenating hues of Spring, our goal was to infuse warmth and energy into the space. The carriage house offered a beautiful blank canvas, and we wanted to bring it to life by creating a space that feels both inviting and dynamic, celebrating the essence of natural beauty and organic charm.

From Sister Events

For our ceremony and escort table designs, we wanted to carry forward the colorful fairy garden vibe from the head table. We used rustic benches from Grand Central Party Rental for the ceremony to create a charming and natural setting. Instead of a traditional arch, Black Tie Floral Design crafted a stunning installation on the trees behind the ceremony space, adding a whimsical, nature-inspired touch.

From Black Tie Floral Design

For this breathtaking wedding ceremony design, silk florals created an atmosphere of timeless romance. The arrangements, though silk, were so lifelike that they exuded the beauty and softness of fresh blooms. A dreamy palette of whites, neutrals, and soft pinks set the foundation for the design, while delicate touches of light blue and purple wove throughout, bringing harmony and depth to the overall aesthetic.

The pièce de résistance was a stunning floral installation cascading gracefully from a tree, creating a natural yet refined backdrop for a ceremony while a couple exchanged vows. The arrangement draped effortlessly, adding movement and elegance, making it the perfect setting for a picture-perfect ceremony. The florals not only enhanced the natural beauty of the outdoor space but also added a touch of whimsy and romance, ensuring that every moment felt like it was straight out of a fairytale.

The escort table embraced the color-blocking theme by incorporating different color boxes from Black Tie Floral Design. We wanted the head table to evoke an organic, colorful fairy garden vibe in the carriage house. The table was uniquely designed in a curved, caterpillar-like shape, with each section representing a different color of the event. These colors flowed seamlessly from one section to the next, creating a vibrant and harmonious visual while maintaining balance throughout. The linens, including tablecloths and napkins, were perfectly coordinated to match the color blocks, bringing cohesiveness to the theme.

For linens, we used majestic tablecloths and napkins from Grand Central Party Rental in shades of light pink, light blue, orange, moss, and lilac. Paired with Heirloom Smoke Grey dinner, salad plates, and Gianna flatware from Grand Central, the place settings had an elegant yet whimsical feel. Each setting was further enhanced by butterfly floral glassware from Sister Events, adding a delicate touch. Courage and Paper completed the look with beautiful butterfly-themed, color-coordinated menus and place cards, offering a sweet and personal finish to each place setting.

The sweetheart section of the table was distinguished by a colorful floral table runner and a wood “Mr. & Mrs.” sign from Sister Events, alongside pink suede chairs from Romance & Rust Weddings and Events. Romance & Rust Weddings and Events also provided bubble glass tealights, wood candle holders, moss table runners, and cake stands for the personal cakes by Above and Beyond Cakes. Soft grey-blue draping by Party People Events & Decor added the perfect backdrop to the design. To complete the look, Black Tie Floral Design created stunning floral arrangements in each event color, adding a fresh and natural beauty that complemented the overall fairy garden aesthetic.

From Black Tie Floral Design and Events

The head table featured a stunning floral display that perfectly embodied the vibrant, garden-inspired theme of the wedding reception. Lush arrangements cascaded across the table, each section showcasing a different monochromatic color to match the corresponding tablecloths throughout the venue. Bold orange blooms radiated warmth, deep blue florals added richness, fresh green botanicals brought a natural elegance, lively pink blossoms exuded romance, and regal purples provided a touch of drama. A mix of textures and flower varieties, from delicate roses and ranunculus to lush hydrangeas and whimsical sweet peas, created a dynamic and organic feel. The design felt as if the florals had naturally grown across the table, highlighting and complimenting the cakes that paraded on each table and delicate greenery accents, bringing a lush garden atmosphere to the heart of the design.

From Courage & Paper

Inspiration: I collaborated with Sister Events on the design inspiration, which was themed around butterflies and flowers. The goal was to incorporate all colors of the Carriage House design into the wedding suite. One of the key design elements was the 3D butterflies that were included on the menu. My goal was to center around butterflies and to use the florals as an accent. I also wanted the design to use traditional and non-traditional wedding etiquette in the design. The goal for this suite was to have a playful design while maintaining an elegant look & feel.

Stationery included: 5 items within the suite – invitation, RSVP, details card, save the date, & menu. I also included a bellyband, vellum wrap, & an A7 Euroflap envelope liner.

Paper type: Neenah Cotton Paper, formerly Cranes Lettra Fluorescent white 118# cover. The pink and blue paper was Color Plan’s 130# cover & the vellum paper was digitally printed. Lastly, the envelope liner was printed using 32# paper.

Printing method: Digital & letterpress

Chic Boho

From Sister Events

Inspired by Tangled, we designed a lilac-chic boho table that perfectly blended whimsical charm with modern elegance. Grand Central Party Rental provided the ideal foundation with ghost chairs and a rustic farm table. To add a touch of chic sophistication, we chose their gold-rimmed hammered dinner and salad plates, paired with brushed gold Arrezo flatware, Melodia glassware, and majestic lilac napkins for each place setting.

To capture the boho vibe, we draped Romance & Rust Weddings and Events flowing purple table runners across the table, accentuated by modern gold candlesticks and a large gold compote filled with stunning florals from Black Tie Floral Design. Sister Events added a playful touch with origami paper lanterns and wine glass tags used as name cards. Forever Thine Planning completed the look with custom floral menus at each setting.

From Black Tie Floral Design and Events

The Boho Chic table radiated elegance with its dreamy floral display. A stunning oblong gold vase served as the perfect vessel for an enchanting arrangement of whimsical purples, delicate pastels, and lush greenery. The florals brought the whole vision to life, featuring fragrant purple sweet peas, soft lavender roses, and subtle touches of pale pink, all woven together with abundant greenery for a natural, effortless feel. This breathtaking design captured the essence of Boho Chic—romantic, free-spirited, and beautifully organic.

From Forever Thine Planning

Delicate and out of a woodsy fairytale, that is what I had in mind for my Cottage Core table. The different metals, the wood chargers, and the green napkins with rose imprints all over them, how could you not fall in love with Cottage Core?!

Erica with Black Tie Florals was in all for my ideas with the Cottage Core, and she was up for the creative challenge! With whites, pinks, and greens, she had a time with it! Delivering it with different heights and fullness, she helped bring my idea to life!

I worked with St Croix on this table, and she brought the cute charm to my cottage core table. The menus were fun and modern, being round to fit on the plate, and the invitations had a floral, woodsy feel, making everything come to life.

From Black Tie Floral Design and Events

This enchanting design captures the essence of romance and nostalgia, featuring delicate butterfly ranunculus that brings an airy, fairy-tale touch. Soft pale pink spray roses and mauve stock add depth and warmth, while crisp white tulips offer a touch of classic elegance.

All of these dreamy blooms are artfully arranged in a gold compote, exuding vintage charm and sophistication. To complete the look, two gold-rimmed bud vases frame the centerpiece, each holding a petite arrangement that mirrors the effortless beauty of a wildflower meadow. Wisps of whimsical greenery weave throughout, creating a lush, organic feel—perfect for couples seeking a timeless yet effortlessly romantic aesthetic.”

Countryside Italian Vineyard

Design Team: Design Lead & Planner: Forever Thine Planning | Floral Design: Black Tie Floral Design and Events | Stationery: St. Croix Designs | Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events | Rentals: Grand Central Party Rentals

From Forever Thine Planning

Countryside Italian Vineyard was inspired by my Italian roots and my taste for vintage love! When I think of my Italian roots, I think of family and one big dinner table! I wanted a clean-cut, modern family style with a twist on the beautiful history of Italy.

When working with St Croix for all my paper needs, she brought it home! We talked about the Italian culture and the vintage modern take. Emphasizing on family. To put that Italian stamp of approval on it, St Croix designed a family crest at the top of the menu. The crest represents the merging of two families. She finished it off with a stamp of approval and a beautiful map of Italy!

I worked with Bianca from the Flower Chic on this piece. I gave her some inspiration, but I wanted her to take the creative lead on it. I wanted a beautiful, clean-cut look with white and blue flowers and lots of greenery, and she delivered!

From The Flower Chic

Rene had the concept with hues of light blue, grey, sage, and ivory. She mentioned touches of dark gold/bronze, so we made sure to match a container of ours that would match. The blues and white floral scheme with frilly touches worked well with her visions for her table.

Whimsical

Design Team: Design Lead & Planner: Lily & Lace | Floral Design: Lily & Lace | Stationery: Courage & Paper | Rentals: Grand Central Party Rental

The Whimsical Table combined a lively blend of orange and sage green that creates a joyful yet sophisticated ambiance. A soft sage green runner drapes elegantly across the table, while vibrant orange napkins provide a striking contrast. Delicate orange roses, their petals gently unfolding, bring a romantic touch to the center of the table. Glass candlesticks hold flickering candles, casting a warm, inviting glow throughout the scene. The paper elements—invites and place cards—feature whimsical accents like dainty bows, charming hearts, and graceful swans, adding a playful and magical touch to the day. This setting isn’t just a table, but a heartfelt celebration of love, joy, and whimsical elegance.

From Courage and Paper

Inspiration: The main color to follow within this design was orange. Since this was whimsical, I actually used a dress that was orange and pink as inspiration. The colors in the dress are the colors I used for the suite. I wanted to incorporate whimsical elements and was able to include different art that represents whimsical well. This suite was a bit more non-traditional since it was more on the playful side. The save the dates were digitally printed, and the couple’s initials were debossed in the middle to kiss the cotton paper.

Stationery included: 5 items within the suite – invitation, RSVP, details card, save the date, & menu. I also included a bellyband, & an A7 Euroflap envelope liner.

Paper type: Neenah Cotton Paper, formerly Cranes Lettra Fluorescent white 118# cover. The orange was Lessebo’s sunset 111# cover & the vellum paper was digitally printed. Lastly, the envelope liner was printed using 32# paper.

Wedding Cakes & Cake Parade!

Design Team: Design Leads & Planners: Sister Events | Wedding Cakes: Above & Beyond | Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events

Let them eat cake! What better way to showcase these delectable treats than with a whimsical cake parade? With a unique cake placed at every table, each bridesmaid model was assigned a cake that perfectly coordinated with her outfit, adding a personal touch to the celebration. As they walked through the reception space, the models proudly carried their colorful, carefully crafted cakes, each one reflecting their own playful design and character. This delightful procession not only added a sense of fun and whimsy to the event but also turned each cake into a centerpiece, creating a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.

From Meghan, owner of Above & Beyond Cakes

The two-tiered pink cake was also frosted in a soft pink buttercream. Utilizing the Lambeth piping method again, I added swag and shell textures in a bold pink. Beautiful floating butterflies were provided by Sisters Events.

The two-tiered green cake was frosted in a soft sage buttercream. I used the Lambeth piping method to create swag and shell textures in a rich hunter green color.

The petite baby blue cake was frosted with buttercream and decorated with soft ruffles and tiny hearts.

The orange cake was a 7-inch round, covered in a vibrant orange buttercream. I gently gave this cake a swooping texture and added white piped flowers. To enhance its appearance, I splashed on some edible metallic gold paint for added texture.

Finally, the 6-inch round cake was frosted in a soft lavender buttercream. I piped green buttercream stems and leaves, then added florals to mimic a garden of lavender.

The Lounge and Bar

Design Team: Planner/Design & Décor: Romance & Rust Weddings and Events | Floral Design: The Flower Chic |Bar Sign: St. Croix Designs | Signature Drink & Bartending: Bartending by Jackie | Rentals: Grand Central Party Rental

From Romance & Rust Weddings and Events

The overall design of the Carriage House was whimsical + enchanting. We wanted the lounge and bar areas to be cohesive with the overall feel of the space yet have their own design elements. A moody, romantic take on spring. 🙂

Who says spring has to be all pastels? This dramatic lounge was the perfect blend of romance and edge, featuring a dark mauve settee, plum side chairs, and a black coffee table. The painted black fireplace set the stage for cascading pink roses, white orchids, and cherry blossom stems, creating a stunning contrast.

The bar was just as dreamy-a gorgeous floral arrangement of pink and cream roses and white orchids framed the arched bar menu featuring the Blushing Bride signature cocktail. Vintage decanters, bud vases, and glass barware lined the bar back shelves, adding charm and nostalgia. A small champagne tower with gold-rimmed pink coupes stood beside a gold sign inviting guests to sip and celebrate.”

From Bartending by Jackie

The Carriage House bar featured the Blushing Bride. This was a Moscato and Watermelon Juice mixture garnished with a Watermelon cube. Behind the bar, bartender Taylor Lazenby expertly crafted each drink, ensuring every sip was as enjoyable as the last.

From The Flower Chic

Kathy wanted a floral set up with a whimsical and garden-like setting for these areas. With the mantle, we incorporated spring blooms. We used pinks and lavenders with beautiful cherry blossoms to bring out the spring vibe. She incorporated lanterns and candles to give the cozy feel paired with florals. The complements

For the bar- St. Croix designed an absolutely beautiful sign to coordinate with the bar menu. We all worked together in formulating florals that would complement the size, style, and shape of the bar sign. Both of these pieces were stunning!
