On April 2, some of Nashville’s best talents came together at Emerson Hall Nashville for Happily Connected’s 2023 Wedding Showcase! Designers and vendors teamed up to create gorgeous tablescapes full of beautiful florals, and unique paper details! There were wood and real florals, disco balls, ballroom dancers and stunning models wearing breathtaking dresses, and so much more!

The Design Gallery
Five design teams made up of Talented Nashville Area Vendors showcased their work by creating seven different tablescapes and a ceremony set up in our Design Gallery to give couples inspiration for their own wedding. The tablescape designs were Boho, Boho Glam, Citrus, Classic/Traditional, Fairytale, Rustic and Whimsical. We loved seeing how each team interpreted the color palette in their design!
Five gorgeous ladies modeled different styles of dresses from Dearly Loved Bridal and Anomalie Beauty Agency did an awesome job on their hair and makeup. AV Nails also provided nails to a couple of the models.
The showcase, design gallery and models were captured beautifully by three Amazing Nashville Area photographers: Jordan Roepke Photography, Liz Courtney Photography, and Rebecca Vaughan Photography.

Boho Tablescape
This gorgeous Boho table was designed by the Enchanted Flower Shop. We LOVE the combination of bright colors, greenery, pampas grass and gold metals! St. Croix Designs designed the paper details which included a custom crest on handmade paper which tied in with the invitation suite. Absolutely Stunning!

Boho Glam Tablescape
Are you dreaming of a Boho wedding and want to incorporate some Glam? If so, check out this beautiful Boho Glam inspiration designed by Everyday Fiestas. From soft florals mixed with pampas grass, disco ball details and a neon sign, this boho glam table pulls all the best parts from the past. The neon Mr. & Mrs. sign on the grass wall is the perfect backdrop for the modern Sweetheart Table adorned with minimal decor which included brass modern candlesticks and a white table runner. Swoon!

The Citrus Tablescape
Fresh was the goal of this citrus themed table designed by Aly Biles and Megan Naranjo of Events by Aly. The centerpiece, made of greenery and white peonies with fresh cut citrus, was complimented by orange chiffon table runners, gold candle sticks, dinnerware, glasses, and linens provided by Everyday Fiestas. Kim with paperKuts studio incorporated the theme beautifully in her citrus invitation suite, menu, and place cards. A delicious cupcake, made by Southern & Sweet Cakes, with sliced orange on top added a sweet touch to this table.

Classic/Traditional Tablescape
The Classic Traditional tablescape was created by Wildwoods Floral Design and St. Croix Designs. This talented duo proved Classic doesn’t have to be complicated! They layered timeless white peonies & roses made from Sola Wood, with preserved silver dollar leaves & natural caspia to tie in the sage linens. St. Croix Designs added a dash of rosy pink with a classic monogram design in her stationery suite. Such a compliment to the overall elegance of this tablescape! Trimmed with gold & glass, you now have an elegant table that evokes feelings of an everlasting love. Past, Present, & Future. Classic!

Fairytale Tablescape
Love all of the romantic details of the Fairytale Tablescape designed by Kimmie’s Rentals. The Vintage dishes, candlesticks and shades of lilac and sage in the napkins and gorgeous wood florals have us dreaming of a garden wedding at a castle.
Wild Woods Floral Designs created the beautiful centerpiece by dying Sola Wood Flowers to jewel & muted tones which complimented the neutral brown forest elements.
St. Croix Designs designed the stationery which included an invitation and other paper details which were adorned with a castle and royal crest and accompanied by a floral lined envelope. This gorgeous combination definitely set the tone for this event.
Candlelight brings an enchanted patina to the bronze & copper metals, and preserved flora. All highlighted with subtle precious stones, gold, and soft feathers, these details will make your wedding feel like a Fairy Tale!

Rustic Tablescape
The baby’s breath runner stole the show of the Rustic Tablescape created by The Enchanted Flower Shop. We love everything about this design. From the blush color vintage glasses, napkins and roses to the white lanterns and the gorgeous paper details created by St. Croix Design, everything about this table exuded rustic elegance!

Whimsical Tablescape
Yellow, pink, and green origami birds floating off the centerpiece brought a playful, light and airy vibe to this whimsical table. The design sisters, Aly Biles and Megan Naranjo, of Events by Aly brought this design to life with the help of hurricane vases, clear plates and chargers, pink goblets, bright yellow napkins and other rentals provided by Everyday Fiestas. The sweet floral place cards and invitation suite by paperKuts studio tied this colorful table together beautifully. This design carried over to the ceremony, with a backdrop of origami and bright spring flowers dancing under a wood hexagon arch from Kimmie’s Rentals. The use of ribbons to mark the reserved seats added color and dimension to the beautifully organic chairs and lanterns from Everyday Fiestas.

The Ceremony

The Models and Runway Show
Eboni
Eboni wore the Charlie gown from Dearly Loved Bridal. Charlie is a simple, fitted wedding dress with a stretchy, crepe material. Charlie features a v-neckline and back-line, as well as a sweep train.
We love the beautiful and funky vibe of Eboni’s red locks! Anomalie Beauty added to this vibe with a stunning champagne eye and the sweetest mauve lip. Beautiful for any wedding style you’re going for! Soft pink colored nails by AV Nails completed this gorgeous look!
Her Freeform bouquet was created by Wild Woods Floral Design using bright colors contrasted with preserved silver dollar leaves which creates a playful, but sophisticated, mood.

Regan
Regan wore a strapless wedding dress with a lace bodice and soft chiffon skirt from Dearly Loved Bridal.
Less is more, but this look is MORE! Regan is wearing a soft Smokey eye with the perfect nude lip to accentuate her beautiful facial features. Just a touch of blush on the apples of her cheek and she’s ready to go!
The gorgeous waterfall shape of the cascading bouquet gives a glamorous and stunning air of class.

Makayla
Makayla is carrying a Boho style bouquet with natural feathers, earth tones, and decorative flowing ribbon which was the perfect accompaniment to the gorgeous strapless gown.
On your wedding day, always remember to let yourself shine! Makayla does just this with a simple lined eye and beautiful red-brown lip. This paired with a few eyelashes and gorgeous white nails and you’re ready to walk down the aisle!

Angelle
When it comes to your wedding day, add a touch of shimmer! Angelle is wearing a beautiful gold shimmer eye with some stunning eyelashes! Anomalie Beauty paired that with a dark pink lip and a classic updo.
Preserved dark lemon leaves, white flowers, and subtle colorful fillers were used to create a dramatic effect for the Classic Grande Round bouquet which was perfect with the classic simplicity of her gorgeous gown.
Angelle has the perfect look to shine bright.

Lauren & Clark
Hello glam! With a touch of gold shimmer and a pinky-nude lip, Lauren is ready to meet her man Clark at the end of the aisle! Add a soft wave to her hair and she can’t be stopped. We love a simple glam bridal moment!
Lauren is wearing the Olivia gown. Olivia is a simple fitted wedding dress made of stretchy, crepe material with a deep, square neckline which adds to her glam look and the small, sweep train gives a nod to tradition
The full color and strategically placed filler accents in the beautiful classic round bouquet leave us with the warm feelings of tradition.
Don’t forget the groom! Love, Love, Love, this modern version of the traditional bout. The bright colored pocket bout is perfect with Clark’s navy suit and bright yellow floral tie and promotes a harmonious aesthetic between the happy couple.

Bret Ryder owner of DJ Rideout was the wonderful MC and DJ for the showcase and runway show! No matter your vision, DJ Rideout can bring it to life.
Ballroom Dancing
New to 2023, Morgan with Curtsy Ballroom and her partner, Dave entertained us by performing several ballroom dances. Their performances were a gorgeous addition to our showcase. Morgan teaches ballroom dancing as well so be sure to contact her for lessons for your big day!
Charcuterie
Charcuterie is becoming more and more popular at weddings and events! Who doesn’t love a good cheese and meat tray?! Right! Contact Graze Craze Mt. Juliet for your next event! Your guests will Thank you!!
Coffee
If you love coffee as much as we do, you need to meet Sweet Carolinas Coffee! We were so excited to have Kelly and their coffee cart at the showcase! If you’re thinking of having coffee at your event, be sure to check them out!

This gorgeous cake and cupcakes were designed by Erica of Southern and Sweet Cakes! The cupcakes were absolutely delicious!
The Showcase
The Happily Connected Wedding Showcase is not your typical wedding show! The Happily Connected Wedding showcase is a modern cocktail style fun alternative to the traditional large scale style wedding shows. Instead of rows of booths, amazing Nashville Area Vendors work together to create a unique wedding experience by setting up the venue like an actual wedding so couples can envision what their wedding could look like. Attendees were able to chat with talented local vendors about their own wedding and be inspired by the design gallery. They also were able to enjoy music, food, live ballroom dancers and models.
