She is a wife and mom to a 9-year-old son who loves capturing life’s important moments. Kara began her photography journey with family photos taken on her cell phone. Her passion for people and storytelling through her camera has made her a standout in the wedding industry, creating beautiful memories for couples. Tell us a little bit about you and how you got started!
Hi, my name is Kara Faye! I am 33 years old and have an amazing husband and little boy who is now 9! Our son was my inspiration from the very beginning. I started out just taking a lot of cell phone photos of him and our sweet dog and quickly knew I had to get a real camera! My husband ended up surprising me with my first camera for my birthday 8 years ago. It became more than just a hobby for me after I started learning. I knew this was going to be my calling. My love for people and capturing their life stories was what I was meant to do.
What makes your business unique?
Wedding planning can be stressful at times, but I am always here to ensure you are stress-free and here to lend a helping hand throughout the entire planning process. I want you to know I got you and will go above and beyond for you.
What services do you offer?
I offer 3 main wedding packages- These can be customizable

What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry?
One thing I enjoy most about working in the wedding industry is the connections I make with amazing people. I have such a big heart and love for others and to be able to document and create lifelong memories for couples/families truly makes my heart so happy.
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
My favorite part about working with couples starts at the very beginning. Once I receive an inquiry from you, I am already filled with joy that you would even take the time to reach out to me. I instantly grow a connection with you and am thrilled to start this journey with you. After everything is finalized and booked, we get to set a date for your engagement session, which is so important and gives you a chance to get to know me even better and feel more comfortable being in front of my camera. Once the wedding date is finally here, I am over the moon to capture it all. Every single part is my favorite. I am there for you and my entire heart is in it.
One piece of advice for couples?
One piece of advice for my couples is to choose a photographer who has the experience, has the heart and love for this career, and someone who will be there for you through it all.
Any fun facts or hidden talents?
Fun facts about me. I absolutely love to sing country music and worship music. I am a country girl at heart, and I wear my cowgirl boots any chance I get.
