Choosing the month (and day) that you would like to have your wedding can be a difficult decision. We have several reasons why we think that May is the best month to get married!

Pre-Summer Kickoff

May is not technically summer yet, but in a lot of places it feels like it! Having your wedding in May can be a great pre-summer kick off to the season of fun! You may catch it before it gets too hot like it tends to be in the middle of summer.

Weather

That brings us to our next reason, the weather! While May can sometimes be a little rainier than some months, it tends to have great temperatures before it gets too hot. You can expect some great mid-70 days which are perfect for any wedding, but especially and outdoor one! Also if it does rain it makes for some really cool photos!

Better Pricing

Having your wedding in May can sometimes save you from some of the summer up charges that come with the season. Summer is a really popular time for weddings so sometimes this can jack up the prices.

Less Busy Than Other Summer Months

Once you get into the summer months of June, July, and August things tend to get really busy with kids being out of school for the summer and vacations, etc. If you have your wedding in May it may save you from your guests being too busy.

Less Sports

For sports lovers sometimes you have to work around important game dates (like college football in the fall). May is a unique time of the year when there are not a ton of sports in full swing.
